How is 4K different from the rest

If you want to try and understand the difference between high definition televisions then it is important for you to first understand what exactly resolutions are. If you take a closer look at your TV, you will see that there are multiple small dots or squares which make the picture up. These dots are known as pixels. Basically, the greater the number of pixels a TV can offer, the better the resolution it can offer. Let's take a look at your options:

1. HD Ready- TV's that are HD Ready have two times the resolution as Standard Definition TV's. If any TV has a HD Ready logo then it means that the TV has a resolution of 720p. If your TV is less than 32 inches in size then there won't really be much of a difference between Full HD and HD Ready TV's. Both will show clear & sharp images from HD signals. They are much cheaper than Full HD TV's as well.

2. Full HD- When it comes to Full HD TV's, it basically means they have a resolution of 1080p. The pictures are very clear & sharp. These TV's are best when it comes to TV's that are 42 inches or more. It has far more pixels and that is why the picture resolution is much better as well. It displays details which no HD Ready TV will be able to. But it is a little more expensive.

3. 4K UHD TV- These TV's are slowly making their way onto the scene and has a resolution which is 4 times as much as a Full HD TV. It only makes sense to buy these TV's if you are looking at screen sizes that are more than 55 inches. When you are watching television or movies on such large screens, a UHD TV will certainly produce much better pictures. The only real disadvantage with these TV's is the big size. You don't get them in small sizes. And since the technology is quite new, it is rather expensive as well. Learn many facts about 4k tvs.
